CHILDLESS is a thought-provoking novel with a heavy message that on the one hand seems far-fetched, but on the other seems all too plausible. When you take a look back at how quickly society has twisted its views to a more “Godless” mentality, with less and less appreciation for the sanctity and value of human life, it paints a chilling. Childlessness is the state of not having essness may have personal, social or political significance. Childlessness, which may be by choice or circumstance, is distinguished from voluntary childlessness and being "childfree", which is voluntarily having no children, and from antinatalism, wherein childlessness is promoted.

Adele Napier, consultant, educator, soul counsellor, and childless “Childless Living is a beautifully crafted and wisely written book addressing an ever-growing section of our society, which has traditionally been looked down upon as lacking. As the real-life examples based on rigorous research by the author show, life is notless for not.   Twenty-five years ago, I made the decision to marry the man I love. I was 23 when I packed up my life in Montreal and moved to New York City for him. I had yet to actually meet this man, but as I drove down the I to my new home, I was confident that I was headed exactly where I always expected to be: in love, married, and a mother. And on my first job interview in New York City, I even.

Childless Dr James Dobson/Kurt Bruner In Childless, Dobson and Bruner have created a futuristic world based in the 's, which our world is frighteningly on its way towards emulating. Life has no significance or value in the future and people fall into two distinct categories, credits and debits, depending on how much of a financial contribution they are able to make to the economy. When a childless woman marries at age 35 or older, the CDC reports that these women have at least two children, surpassing the birthrate for all American women; the mean number of births to women.

/5(61). "Childless" picks up right where the first book in the series, "Fatherless", left off, and once again proves that Dobson and Bruner are able to produce action-packed and thought-provoking fiction.

In some ways I found this to be a darker book than the/5. In How to Be Childless: A History and Philosophy of Life Without Children, Rachel Chrastil explores the long and fascinating history of childlessness, putting this often-overlooked legacy in conversation with the issues that childless women and men face in the twenty-first century.4/5(1).

Childless book heart-pounding adventure spanning forty years culminates in Childless, the third novel in Brian J. Gails American Tragedy in Trilogy. The reader is propelled from Manhattan boardrooms to European capitals to Middle East laboratories to Church chanceries and confessionals/5(32).

Gail's "American Childless book in Trilogy." The reader is propelled from Manhattan boardrooms to European capitals to Middle East laboratories to Church chanceries and confessionals/5. This book is head and shoulders above any other "fix the problem" or memoir anthologies on childlessness, because it ventures where others dare not go.

Well-meaning books like the husband and wife-authored "Sweet Grapes" sugarcoat some of the ugly truths. Other books say "it's no use going over whose fault it is."/5(14).

An academic, Lorna’s book is a mixture of little known/heard stories of childlessness in some of the poorest places in the world (where childless women can be banished from their communities as witches or treated as slaves), to the painful exclusion and heartbreak.

Childless by Marriage In a society where parenting is expected, some of us do not have children because our partners are unable or unwilling to make babies. That's what this blog and my book, Childless by Marriage, are about.

Let's talk about what it's really like. Childless: A Novel - eBook () by Dr. James Dobson, Kurt Bruner5/5(3). There are a lot of books about being childless due to infertility and childfree by choice, but being childless due to your husband not wanting kids is a neglected area.

The only part that made me cringe and roll my eyes was the chapter about being a dog's mother - ugh/5. BOOK REVIEW: The Girlfriend Mom by Dani Alpert, Dani Alpert was childless by choice, but when she partnered with Julian, she became a de facto step-mom to his son and daughter.

She wasn’t married to their dad, but she was caring for these kids, so what was she really. Childless by Marriage In a society where parenting is expected, some of us do not have children because our partners are unable or unwilling to make babies.

"Childless" features the characters we came to love (or loathe) in the first book, while introducing some new characters as well. The authors do a good job at fleshing out the characters and giving them intriguing storylines that are woven together in a masterful manner.5/5(3).
